22856-1 Test Equipment Technician – Calibration L2, Orlando, FL (Ability to Obtain)
DESCRIPTION:
- Calibrates optical and electronic measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
- Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains optical, electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
- Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
- Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
First shift schedule Monday through Thursday from 6:30am-4:30pm

- Must be US Citizen.
- Active Secret Clearance or Ability to Obtain.
- 4/10 Work Week.
- 1st Shift.
- $35.96/hr.
- Duration: 10/7/2026-10/28/2027.
- Non-Exempt.
- Contract Position.
- Worker will work Onsite Full Time.
MANDATORY:
- Candidates must have at least 2+ Years of Experience with the following:
- Experience working with and measuring optics.
- Experience with test measurement calibration tools (interferometer, autocollimator, optical alignment scopes, IR equipment, oscilloscope, RF generator, DMM).
- Electronic experience.
- Physical calibration experience.
- Experience with Indy soft (current calibration system used by team).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (to read procedures).
- High school diploma required (No degree required).
