21846-1 Technician Level 1, Ocala, FL (Secret/Ability to Obtain)

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.

Performing Certifications on ESD Mats, ESD Monitors, Solders Stations, and calibration of Air Ionizers.

Worker will work Onsite Full Time.

MANDATORY:

1- 3 years of hands-on work performing calibrations and certifications on electrostatic discharge (ESD) control equipment and related instrumentation.
Ability to read and interpret calibration certificates, work orders, and test procedures.
1 year of dedicated experience with floor mat testing and monitor verification.
1 year of experience calibrating and certifying soldering/rework stations.

DESIRED:

Knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20.
Proficiency spreadsheet tracking, and calibration management software.
Use of handheld ESD testers to measure surface resistance (10⁶ 10⁹ Ω) and charge decay.
Use of calibrated thermocouples or IR pyrometers to verify set points ±2 °C.
Experience with profiling software.
